Natthimmel

Since this blog was not created at the same moment we started our Natthimmel project in Secondlife, we would like to briefly describe what we have done until now.

The idea of the project started early 2023 as an answer to many creative ideas that had started to appear in our chats and discussions. We got Natthimmel (NewMoon region in Secondlife) in April 2023 and shortly after our first installment was available for public – Göbekli Tepe. It received a lot of positive recognition and comments and we were extremely glad that we could bring something exciting and interesting to the world of Secondlife.

Shortly after Göbekli Tepe was closed, our mind drifted to more abstract ideas. We are both fans of science, space exploration and astrophysics and this is how the idea of an abstract world, a variation of a real planet (Gliese 581e) mixed with some influences from the culture and media, was born. Project Gliese 581e, accompanied by a great background story, a mission report written by Scylla Rhiarda, was quite popular among residents and we have received many positive comments.

Our third installment was a sentimental travel to Tuscany, which seemed perfect to complement the late summer feeling. A lazy evening with a glass of wine and some tasty Italian food, spent in the rays of evening sun at La Casa del Cielo Notturno was a perfect switch from a space travel to something more realistic.

Last but not least, the current installment, Heimen, that is a nostalgic sim inspired by northern landscapes, was open in October and will be available till the first weekend of December.
